Keep reading to learn about a few of Springdale’s best restaurants — including our own on-site dining option, Spotted Dog!
Spotted Dog at Flanigan’s Inn
One of the best things about choosing Zion lodging located close to the park’s entrance is having the ability to hop in and out of the park throughout the day to eat, take a nap, or otherwise relax. Flanigan Inn’s on-site restaurant makes this even easier!
Spotted Dog, located at Flanigan’s, is a great spot to fuel up before hitting the trails or to relax and unwind with family and friends after a day of fun. A quick and easy breakfast buffet will help you fill up fast before catching the Springdale Shuttle and heading to the park, while gourmet dinners in our beautiful art-filled dining rooms will help you make even more lasting memories with your travel group.
On the breakfast buffet, you’ll find a wide variety of tasty, fresh classics, like French toast, steel-cut oats, breakfast potatoes, and biscuits and gravy, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Your breakfast includes locally roasted drip coffee and refreshing orange juice, while other fruit juices, specialty coffees, and healthy green juices are also available at an additional cost.
Dinners at Spotted Dog offer casual American fare with a fresh and delicious twist. Warm up in the Fall and Winter with hot homemade soup, dig into delicious pasta and regionally-inspired recipes, and finish it off with a decadent dessert. Walk-ins are always welcome, but reservations are available for our indoor dining room for those who prefer to plan ahead. You can also dine on our outdoor patio, weather-permitting, and take in the stunning views of Zion’s peaks while you eat.
Cafe Soleil
Whether your plans for the day include relaxing and taking in all that Springdale resorts have to offer or hiking to the challenging summit of Angels Landing if you’re someone who needs to start their day with a caffeine hit, head to Cafe Soleil. This quaint cafe is a great spot to grab your favorite coffee or tea, as well as simple sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. The restaurant also offers some vegetarian and vegan options.
Zion Canyon Brew Pub
Looking for a great spot to grab a drink after a long day of hiking? Head to Zion Canyon Brew Pub. This casual, quirky spot was the very first microbrewery in Southern Utah and continues to serve up its fresh brews made on-site.
In addition to a variety of beers available on a rotating schedule, Zion Canyon Brew Pub also releases a seasonal selection of its brews. Try their popular Zion Pale Ale, or mix things up with a pint of Foray Pomegranate or Juicy IPA. You can also enjoy some casual fare and comfort food, like burgers and sandwiches, buffalo meatloaf, and bangers and mash, as well as healthier options like salads.
Oscar’s Cafe
Southern Utah is known for its great Mexican and Mexican-American cuisine. If you’re hoping to try some during your Springdale resorts stay, you’re in luck; there are several options in town!
One is Oscar’s Cafe. This restaurant is easy to spot for its adobe facade and tree-lined patio. On the menu, you’ll find a variety of Mexican food, as well as burgers, sandwiches, and more. Dine outside on their shady patio, or fill up in their colorful dining room. You can also grab a sit-down breakfast here before heading into the park.
Whiptail Grill
Another spot for grabbing Mexican food and other filling comfort foods during your stay at the best Zion lodging is Whiptail Grill. While the menu may be smaller, you’ll find classics like tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, as well as some Asian food and vegetarian options, burgers, pizza, and more. Whiptail Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner.
