Ryan Bean

Ryan received his yoga training at the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India and studied with Win Hof for his cold-water emersion & breath work. Ryan’s yoga teaching style includes Budokon, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and power yoga plus incorporates meditation and Pranayama (breath work) into each practice.

This amazing journey starts off with going over the many benefits this technique brings to our bodies and awareness. Following the discussion, you then learn the breathing and
meditation techniques that will help with the cold-water emersion portion of the session.

Please Bring comfortable clothing for the meditation and breath work and a swimsuit for the cold emersion.

This style of yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self-inquiry with modern mixed movement. Budokon Yoga synchronizes classical yoga with martial arts, calisthenics, animal locomotion The style was created as a condition practice for movers of all types seeking the highest level of agility, mobility, stamina, and strength.

When I took my first yoga class over 10 years ago, I never could have fully foreseen the journey that it would end up taking me on. Raised as a dancer, I have always loved moving my body, and at first, I mostly thought of yoga as an amazing physical exercise. But as my practice steadily blossomed into a daily ritual, I realized more and more that yoga wasn’t just stretching my body – it was a moving meditation that was stretching my heart, mind and soul as well. As a teacher, my hope is to provide my students with the space in which they can find the stillness necessary to tune into their inner wisdom and the cosmic magic that we are all made of, as well as to guide them in integrating what they learn on their mat into their life off of the mat.

That is where the real practice begins.
